Delegates from 25 countries
will arrive in T&T from June 15, with the grand finals scheduled for the World Select Gem Auditorium HCU Convention Centre
in Freeport on June 21.

Plummer, Bunji Garlin, Faye Ann Lyons, Nadia Madhoo, pannist Sherwin Cooper, Wendy Sheppard and Asha Kamachee are among some
of the local performers.
In the lead-up to the main event, there will be two major pageant events. On June 16 there
will be the official presentation of the delegates at a venue which will be announced shortly. The pre- judging of National
Costume, Talent and Intelligence takes place on June 19 at the Rudranath Capildeo Learning Resource Centre Auditorium in Couva.
Winners will take home more than US$25,000 in prizes, trips, scholarships, as well as the title of Miss Teen Worldwide
2008, with the opportunity to represent and be the voice of teenagers around the world. During her reign, Miss Teen Worldwide
will visit South Africa, Canada, USA and TT.
Miss Teen Worldwide travels the world assisting communities in fund raising
events which in some way makes a better way for teenagers around the world. Title holders also assist in programmes to teach
various communities in the areas of discipline, etiquette, problem solving and becoming more responsible adults.
TT?s representative in the
pageant is Malika Grayson, 18, a student from Arouca. Malika is a CXC student who plans to pursue her A-levels, then move
on to the University of the West Indies (UWI) to study Mechanical Engineering.
The reigning Miss Teen Worldwide is
Emily Vasquez, 16, of Puerto Rico.
